MedVasc has been selected to participate in Innovate Nordics 2026, a prestigious accelerator program hosted by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York in partnership with EY. The program brings together leading Nordic life science companies preparing for expansion into the U.S. market.
Innovate Nordics provides participating companies with access to strategic workshops, investor engagement opportunities, pitch training, and introductions to key stakeholders across the U.S. healthcare and business ecosystem. The initiative is designed to support Nordic innovators as they navigate market entry and growth opportunities in the United States.
For MedVasc, participation in the program represents an important step in the company’s continued international development and commercialization efforts surrounding Solutio™, a novel catheter technology being developed to support tumescent anesthesia delivery from inside the vein during endothermal treatment of varicose veins.
Throughout the program, MedVasc engaged with investors, industry leaders, healthcare experts, and fellow innovators in both Stockholm and New York. These interactions provided valuable insights into the U.S. healthcare landscape and opportunities to strengthen the company’s network ahead of future market expansion activities.
“We are honored to have been selected for Innovate Nordics 2026 and grateful for the opportunity to connect with leading experts and stakeholders across the U.S. life science ecosystem,” said Cathrin Johansson, CEO of MedVasc. “The program has provided valuable perspectives as we continue advancing Solutio and our mission to improve the treatment experience for both patients and physicians.”
Participation in Innovate Nordics further strengthens MedVasc’s position as an emerging innovator in vascular medtech and supports the company’s ongoing efforts to bring novel solutions to patients and healthcare providers worldwide.
